Help for landlords

A number of schemes are being run by either the Government or local Councils that offer financial help to landlords to help improve the standard of their properties.

Warm Front Grant

This is a Government scheme to help owner-occupiers and tenants who rent their home from a private landlord, to make improvements to heating and insulation.  The grant offers up to £2700, or where oil fired central heating is needed up to £4000.

Landlord Grants

Landlord grants may be available for landlords to improve or repair tenanted properties.  These grants are administered by the local Council and the level of grant may vary depending on which Council covers your area.  There are certain criteria you will have to meet in order to be eligible for a grant.
