If you’re looking for a home to rent in the Broxtowe, Gedling and Rushcliffe areas of Nottingham, and are a resident in one of those areas, we may be able to help you. The First Lets project was set up to help tenants find good quality, privately-rented accommodation. There is a shortage of council and housing association homes, and so many people find they need to rent privately. We want to make it easier for people to rent a home privately – and also work to improve the standards of houses and flats available for rent.  

 

Through our projects (such as the Tenancy Partnership Scheme and Letting Accreditation Scheme), we work with local landlords, inspecting their properties and encouraging them to accept the tenants that we recommend to them.

• Check with us to see if the landlord you are considering renting from is accredited under our "Letting Accreditation Scheme";
• If you can’t afford to pay a deposit, we may be able to help you;
